I have designed a Thinking Hat Detention Reflection Worksheet. What makes it special? It makes the student think about their actions from 6 different angles. It looks as the positives, the negatives, the facts, the feelings, the future and where their actions might have been correct (thinking creatively). Then there is an interesting thought web to complete on the back of it. It is just a nice way to reflect on the actions without getting angry or being punished with more work etc...

This is a really simple idea. It helps a teacher become more organised. It contains all the key features a teacher needs on their interactive whiteboards. These include the date, the daily timetable, the learning objective and notes for students. It is a perfect solution to the messy whiteboard! I bundled together some of my best classroom management tools into a single pack and hope other teachers find them as useful as I have over the years.

This is a simple, highly visual poster to remind the students about the 5 things they should be doing to learn during the time the teacher is talking. It is a useful reminder, which students can clearly see and understand and teachers can refer to over a lesson. In addition to this simple, but effective poster, I have also included a set of motivational posters about why and how we learn and a complete positive behaviour system you can print out and place around the whole of your room as a constant reminder to success.

Thinking Hats can be found in schools, businesses and a wide range of industries. I have created a set of resources for Key Stage 2 resources to use with almost any reading book. The worksheets are not linked to any book or any particular reading scheme and can be used more than once. These worksheets allow students to examine the same book from 6 different angles and so get a lot more from their reading experiences.
